Quy Nhon hosts Teqball World Series

The 2024 Teqball World Series is scheduled to take place in Quy Nhon City for the first time from June 6-9, according to the announcement released at the  press conference on June 5.

115 athletes coming from 52 countries will participate in the tournament, co-hosted by the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ), Saigon Sports Investment Co. Ltd, Binh Dinh’s Department of Culture and Sports.

 

Teqball is a ball sport that combines football and table tennis and is played on a curved table. Back and forth, players hit the ball with any part of their body, except arms and hands. Teqball can be played between two players as a singles game or between four players as a doubles game.

Originated in Hungary in 2014, Teqball has witnessed remarkable global expansion, The FITEQ currently boasts more than 150 national federations and over 4,000 clubs over the world.
