S.Korean singer Taemin joins Amazing Binh Dinh Fest in Vietnam
South Korean singer Taemin has been confirmed in the star-studded line-up for the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest, scheduled for the end of this month in south-central Vietnam.
Taemin will perform at the event on the evening of March 30.
The festival will be held at the Thi Nai Lagoon in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.
The event will mark Taemin’s second performance in Vietnam, following his first visit to the Southeast Asian county in 2020.
After making a name for himself as a member of South Korean boyband SHINee in 2008, the 31-year-old singer currently split time between solo work and performing with SHINee.
The group is presently on the ‘SHINee World VI: Perfect Illumination’ tour.
The news of Taemin’s performance at the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest coincides with the announcement that he would not be renewing his contract with South Korea-based SM Entertainment, parting ways with the management company after 16 years.
During its week-long run, the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest will also feature the UIM-ABPAquabike International Water Motorcycle Tournament from March 22 to 24, attracting participants from over 30 countries.
It will also host traditional boat racing and mountain running tournaments from March 25 to 28.
After that, the UIM F1H2O international professional motorboat racing tournament from March 29 to 31 will see nine teams competing, including representatives from China, Saudi Arabia, France, Finland, Turkey, and Vietnam.
Furthermore, the Binh Dinh culinary festival will offer a buffet showcasing 77 quintessential local specialties along with a performance by a Michelin chef and various other cultural activities.
