Beauty Huynh Tran Y Nhi crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023

With her confidence and high education level, 21-year-old Huynh Tran Y Nhi from Binh Dinh province was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023 at the final round held on July 22 evening in Quy Nhon city.

She is a business administration student of the International University under the National University, Ho Chi Minh City. She fought stiff off 39 other contestants to win the title.

At the Q&A session of the final round, asked about which pressure in life she used to face and how she could handle them, Y Nhi answered that each youth has their own pressure and her pressure is from her peers. She said that she was born in peace time and had conditions to develop, study, and perfect herself. She was afraid of not being as good and successful as others. However, everyone has different starting points and strengths. Therefore, they should not compare themselves with anyone but look at their strengths to promote. She cited a favorite quote that “Pressure makes diamonds” and emphasized that if people know how to take advantage of that pressure, they will grow, succeed faster, and become shining diamonds and that if they cannot handle the pressure, they will just become a bunch of ordinary “soil.”

The first runner-up was Dao Thi Hien from Nghe An province, a student from the Business and Technology University, Hanoi. Hien is the younger sister of Dao Thi Ha who was in the Top 5 of Miss Vietnam 2016. Hien was followed by Huynh Minh Kien from Ninh Thuan province.

Other titles in terms of talent, bravery, sports, fashion, Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress), nice skin, and most beloved beauty were also named at the event as well.
