Binh Dinh receive more 196 people back from Covid-19 epicenter HCMC

A total of 196 passengers departed from Ho Chi Minh City landed at Phu Cat Airport yesterday, under the programme “Journey back to hometown”, which bring back those who were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in HCMC.

 

All returnees will be sent straight to centralized quarantine zones, where they will stay for 14 days without having to pay any fees.

Priority is given to people who have been hit financially by the complicated pandemic situation in the city.

This is the first out of five flights in the second phase of the programme, which is co-organized by Binh Dinh Fellow- Countrymen Association in HCM City and Binh Dinh People’s Committee.

Five flights brought back 935 people home in the first phase.
