Provincial teacher and student awarded Le Van Thiem Prize
Vietnam Association of Mathematics on the February 18 held a ceremony to award Le Van Thiem Prize 2016 to a teacher and six students across the nation, including one teacher and one student of Binh Dinh province.

Instructor Truong Ngoc Dac, Math team leader of Le Quy Don Specialized High School, is the only teacher in the country to receive the prize in this year.
Among 6 students includes Le Nhat Hoang, former of mathematics specialized class of Le Quy Don Specialized High School, who won silver medal at the International Maths Olympiad 2016.
The Le Van Thiem prize is annually given to one or two math teachers and five or seven high school students to recognize their achievements in teaching and studying of mathematics.
