Tree-planting festival launched in Binh Dinh

A tree-planting festival was launched in An Nhon Town on February 21, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, which is part of the activities to respond to a programme to plant 1 billion trees initiated by the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Following the ceremony, the delegates and Youth Union members planted 350 trees in My Thanh hamlet, culture and sport center and other places.

On the same day, Youth Union affliates in Binh Dinh planted 5,000 trees in schools, roads and public spaces.
