Various events to be hosted in Quy Nhon this summer

Binh Dinh Tourism Department on May 22 coordinated with the province’s Department of Information and Communication to organize a press conference, announcing the schedule of events to be held in Quy Nhon from June to August.

Notably, the Teqball World Series 2024 is scheduled to take place for the first time in Vietnam from June 6 to 9, attracting 131 teams from 52 countries. Teqball is a ball sport that combines football and table tennis and is played on a curved table. Back and forth, players hit the ball with any part of their bodies except arms and hands. Teqball can be played between two players as a singles game or between four players as a doubles game.

Other activities include the VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2024, a kite festival, the national athletics championship of young age groups, a street festival, the national 3x3 basketball tournament, and the national youth kickboxing championship.

A series of summer tourist events are aimed at promoting Binh Dinh as a safe, unique and friendly destination, according to an official of Binh Dinh Tourism Department. They are expected to help the province to meet the target of 5 million visitors set for this year.
