Binh Dinh promotes tourism image through int’l powerboat tournaments

A press conference took place at the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province on February 23 to provide information about the UIM F1H20 Grand Prix and UIM-ABP Aquabike Grand Pix Binh Dinh 2024.

At the press conference, the tournament organisers answered many questions from press agencies.

Tran Viet Anh, Chairman of Fleur De Lys Hospitality Company (sponsor of the F1H2O Binh Dinh-Vietnam motorboat racing team), said: "In the upcoming tournament, the organizers will sell 10,000 tickets to the audience. Ticket prices range from 500,000-3,000,000VND per ticket.

Audiences can buy tickets and watch the tournament live at Thi Nai Lagoon, near Quy Nhon Port.

The opening day of the tournament will be solemn.

In addition, the organising committee will invite famous Vietnamese singers, foreign music groups, and dance groups to attend. A low-level fireworks display is also expected to take place.

Quy Nhon City will arrange two large screens in the Nguyen Tat Thanh Square area to broadcast the event live for people to watch and cheer.

Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province, said: "This is a big international event and takes place for the first time in Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh in particular. Binh Dinh is very proud that the Vietnamese representative organised this event."

Binh Dinh wants to bring audiences nationwide a wonderful new experience. The province's goal is to promote the image of Binh Dinh to friends around the world, Giang added.
