Positive sign for Binh Dinh’s tourism post Covid-19
Binh Dinh on October 8 welcomed France’s five-star cruise ship Le Lapérouse, with 106 tourists of different nationalities, anchoring at Quy Nhon port.
This is the first cruise ship has arrived in Binh Dinh after a two-year suspension induced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Visiting several famous destinations, such as Canh Tien and Doi towers, tourist Francois Hurel said that he was impressed by the Champa culture, local landscapes and friendly people.

Huynh Cao Nhat, deputy director of Binh Dinh’s Department of Tourism, said the inclusion of Quy Nhon in international cruise itineraries was a positive sign for the local travel and hospitality industries.
He hoped there would be more international cruises to Quy Nhon in the coming months and years, giving a boost to post-pandemic tourism recovery.
The cruise ship departed from Indonesia on September 20 and passed through Singapore before reaching Vietnam. Earlier, it arrived in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, and Khanh Hoa.
