1,050-bln-VND project on construction new Binh Dinh General Hospital approved

Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 2063 to approve the project on "Establishment of new Binh Dinh General Hospital".

The new facility, which would be managed technically by Binh Dinh Department of Health, would have 700 in-patient beds with advanced medical equipment and modern infrastructure, meeting standards of a first-class hospital. It might be developed as a special hospital with more than 1.100 patient beds. The new hospital would be built at new residential town of Long Van - Long My, Trang Quang Dieu ward, Quy Nhon city, with total investment of 1,050 billion VND. It is expected to finish and put into operation by 2019.

The project aims to reduce the long-lasting overcrowding at other Binh Dinh-based hospitals; meanwhile, satisfy needs of medical examination and treatment of local residents as well as people from other provinces in the South Central Coast and Central Highland; and improve the quality of the medical services.
