“Le hoi chua Ba – cang thi Nuoc Man’ recognized as national intangible cultural heritage

Vietnam's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on August 4 has recognized the ‘Le hoi chua Ba – cang thi Nuoc Man’ festival in south-central Binh Dinh Province as a national intangible cultural heritage.

Binh Dinh People’s Committee last year asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to name the festival in the list of national intangible cultural heritage.

Nuoc Man festival is one of the oldest and biggest events in Binh Dinh. Born nearly 400 years ago, the festival is annually held on the first day of the third lunar month at Ba (Lady) Temple located at Phuoc Quang commune of Tuy Phuoc district.
