Mascot statues for Tet holiday open for public

Mascot statues for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday opened for public yesterday at Quy Nhon City-based Nguyen Tat Thanh Square.

The statues are comprised of 9 buffaloes, with the theme “A happy family of buffaloes”, which is located on an area of 4,000 square meters.

There are also other decorations, such as an image of bronze drum, a fishing boat and ocean tunas.

More than 21,000 baskets of flowers and other traditional features were decorated around the statues.
