Binh Dinh now sees 4 projects invested by German companies, with the registered investment capital of US$55 million, including a thin film factory by Kurz International Holdings GMBH from Germany and an offshore wind power project by PNG Group of Germany.
Party Chief Dung said that the conference is another opportunity to promote the province’s potential and advantages for further development with German businesses.
The Deputy Head of the German Embassy Hanoi, Simon Kreye, confirmed that German entrepreneurs have focused on operation in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi for years and now they will continue expanding to other provinces and cities, including Binh Dinh.
He also stressed the guarantee of legal procedures for investors, which is also a big challenge for foreign companies in Vietnam. Binh Dinh Province is, thus, required to have specific commitments.
The Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam Marko Walde highly valued the position of Vietnam in ASEAN and Vietnam is a right choice for German investors as a destination.
