Quy Nhon, Yongsan mark 26 years of cooperation

A ceremony was organized by Quy Nhon Municipal People’s Committee on April 25, marking 26 years of cooperation between Quy Nhon City and South Korea’s Yongsan District.

In 1996, two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperatin in fields of culture, health and education.

The Yongsan authorities supported Quy Nhon to build many medical facilities. Last year, the district also gave 800,000 medical masks and 500 sets of medical protection clothing to Binh Dinh’s medical staff.

A total of 220 scholarships and stationaries were also presented to the city’s poor students, besides other support.

Speaking at the ceremony, Quy Nhon’s Chairman Ngo Hoang Nam and Head of Yongsan District Sung Jang Hyung stressed that two sides will tighten the relationship for a better future.

On this occasion, some people, who greatly contributed to the friendship between Quy Nhon and Yongsan, were honoured.
